Hello traveler! Welcome to our Vanlife Blog. Here you will find various content related to the vanlife lifestyle, safety tips, routes, projects, and much more. But that’s not all, our blog aims to turn the dream of living or traveling on wheels into an incredible experience.
Who writes the Vanlife blog?
My name is Marcelo, I’m a Brasilian from the countryside of São Paulo, I work as a photographer and web designer, and as I’ve passed the age of 35, the latent desire to live a little adventure has taken over my mind. I won’t deny that in part of my youth I didn’t even think much about it, but after experiencing the mysteries of adult life, bills, problems, and all the stress of daily life, the idea of having a different life came to my mind when following some travelers through Instagram and Youtube. Suddenly, this became a hobby, since I was lucky to have geographical freedom to work, I started my journey of study, research, and learning to gather as much quality information as possible in one place.
What is the Vanlife Blog?
This blog is a compilation of information for those who want to start in the Vanlife style, for those who want to build their first motorhome or want to venture out in some common vehicle. Here I have carefully selected various useful contents (others not so much), but always evaluating the feasibility, objectivity, and quality of the content.
Vanlife Blog Curiosity
During the development of this project, I had several brand and logo ideas, until searching for a universal reference I found the VW Kombi or VW BUS, which is an iconic figure throughout South America and even in the United States, the grace and sympathy of this model clearly summarize the Vanlife experience. The Kombi is the universal symbol of friendship, companionship, and travel, so it is present in our brand!
Through the menu, it will be possible to navigate between the posts, carefully separated by categories. There are tips of all kinds, of course, I tried to be as impartial as possible and give tips for all styles of travelers, Brazilian or not.
Here you will see motorhome projects, we will give tips on electrical and hydraulic installation with secrets that almost no one tells, we will talk about assembly tips, economy, thermal and acoustic insulation, and much more.
In the camping, routes, and destinations section, obviously, as I am Brazilian and passionate about my country, most of the information will be related to Brazil, but there is also information about other Latin American countries such as Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, etc. With a lot of effort, I managed to gather information from various locations, countries, and places. Customs requirements for cars, people, and pets, security policies, necessary documentation, and I searched for the best routes to travel on wheels through Brazil and South America.
So, if you like this style, are a traveler, or want to become one, this blog is a good starting point where we can exchange experiences and learnings with each other through the comments section and the exclusive WhatsApp group.
